In
1978 Richard Avedon prepared the "Portfolio of Eleven from
Paris"
in conjunction with his retrospective exhibition at
the Metropolitan Museum in New York.
The images are from those
taken in Paris during the late 1940's and early 1950's.
To
present this limited edition (75) portfolio of images,
Avedon
prepared an exquisite portfolio of the same images printed by
offset lithography.
This presentation portfolio, offered here, has now become
a collector's piece.
