Aristide Maillol
Aristide Maillol (1861-1944) is one of the great artists of the 20th century.
The Louvre in Paris, the Hermitage in St Petersburg and scores of other important museums
and collections around the world proudly display their collections of Maillol's sculptures,
mostly of the human form.  His prints and woodblock book illustrations comprise
one of the most important bodies of prints in history.
The print shown here is an original Maillol.
A second print from the same series is available.
