VISITOR INFORMATION

Welcome to ArtZineInternational

How this site works

There is a lot of different art to be explored here. We are quite purposefully making/keeping this place eclectic. Most art lovers/collectors are eclectic, perhaps not in their focus, but certainly in their taste. Here is art in an embracing and inclusive definition. Enjoy that!

We fancy ourselves as lying somewhere between an internet art portal and a  art magazine, with the intention of being both/and.  We use the www technology to make your experience efficient and friendly, but then we hand-build our artist's pages, because website templates homogenize everything into (boring) sameness.  We continue to like browsing the slick art magazines and think that most of you do, too. So we are choosing to retain that comfortable feel.

Start your excursion by choosing a category. Presently there are nine. Soon there will be more.

Browse pages of art/artist/gallery listings. There, a thumbnail and several lines of information will (hopefully) entice to move you on.

Click on an artist, a gallery or an art work. You will go to a new full page with more and larger photos of artwork, and enough information to decide whether you want to learn even more. If you do, click on the link to the artist's or gallery's website.

A new window will open with the artist's website, where you can explore that new and bigger world to your heart's content.

Along the line are opportunities to email the artist or gallery.  Don't hesitate to do that. Obviously you are not obligating yourself.  Instead you stand to learn more, and who knows, maybe even create a delightful dialog with an artist nine time-zones away!

A final note: We do not intervene or interfere in any way in your communication with artists or galleries. We do not "harvest" email addresses or any other information from your activities in this site. We do not put cookies in your computer.  If you subscribe to our newsletter, we do not share your address with anyone, for any reason. In short, we want your involvement in this project to be as fair and honest as it is possible to be.

Hints for usage Browse! Snoop! Enjoy!  This site is designed to be visual because people into art are/love to be stimulated visually.

There are no search engines here that require you to reduce your visual interests to words-as-search-parameters.  Plenty of that around.

Visit often. We are always adding new stuff. Every day, in fact. Bookmark us!

Don't hesitate to email artist/gallery, either from the artist's page or from the artist's or gallery's website.

Down the pike We are planning new categories: Wearable Art, Home Art, plus breakdowns of existing categories such as Ethnic, Antiquities, etc (as they grow). We are also developing a Services category that will include framers, appraisers, insurance companies and the like. Events is probably the next category.  This is a free listing of openings, fairs, shows, etc. that would be of interest to our viewers.  Give us ideas here. We are also developing the entire "educational" wing of the website:  resources, glossaries, articles, links to collections, etc. Help us here, too.

Newsletter Be sure and click (below) on the Newsletter page.  Sign up for our monthly (email) newsletter where you will find features, specials, access to new stuff, more visual treats. It is, and always will be, free.
Contact us Don't hesitate, for any reason, to write us.  Our intention (and practice) is to keep this a friendly place.  Dialog enhances friendliness.  And the other way around! Click Contact Us below.

We really like new ideas.  So share yours with us!

And if there is an artist, a gallery, a genre, a category or whatever that you would like to see more of, let us know.  We'll go to work on it.

Thanks for visiting.  And we hope you return soon!
